Organic Soursop Leaf Tea Powder – Graviola Guanabana Caribbean Herbal Tea 4oz
RastaMan Stew Organic Soursop Leaf Tea Powder is milled from 100% organic graviola leaves and nothing else. The pouch holds 4 oz (113 g) of fine powder and reseals.
Leaf Only, Finely Milled
This pouch is pure soursop leaf, with no stem or bark in the grind. That makes for a lighter, cleaner cup than leaf-and-stem versions of the same tea.
The leaves are harvested in Jamaica and shade-dried before milling. Milling is deliberately the last step, so the aroma stays sealed in for as long as possible.

How to Brew
Stir half a teaspoon into 8 oz of just-boiled water and let it stand for three to five minutes before drinking.
For a stronger cup use a full teaspoon rather than a longer steep. Soursop leaf does not turn bitter with time, it simply gets woodier.
Hot, Iced and Blended
Brewed hot it makes a gentle evening cup. Brewed at double strength and chilled it becomes a clean iced tea that takes lime and honey well.
A quarter teaspoon stirred into a smoothie or a mug of warm milk is the simplest way to use it if you are not brewing a pot.
Flavour Notes
Expect a soft, woody, faintly sweet infusion with a pale golden colour and very little astringency.
Ginger, cinnamon and lemongrass are the easiest things to pair it with if you want more character in the cup.
Storage
Keep it sealed, cool and dry, and away from the steam of the kettle. Stored properly the milled leaf stays aromatic for well over a year.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the leaf and stem version?
This pouch is leaf only, which gives a lighter and slightly sweeter cup. The leaf-and-stem grind is a little fuller and woodier.
What is graviola?
Graviola is another name for soursop, the fruit of the Annona muricata tree. Guanabana is the Spanish name for the same plant.
Is this tea caffeinated?
No. Soursop leaf is naturally free of caffeine.
Can I use it in cooking?
Yes. It infuses well into syrups, poaching liquids and warm milk drinks as well as into plain water.
Is the pouch resealable?
Yes, and resealing it promptly is the main thing that protects the aroma of a milled leaf.
